A caffeine addict searches for the next fix…
Well, look at this! Coming off a walk along the Vltava into Karlín and a huge beautiful café is waiting for me. Let’s go in!
Dallucci’s motto is ‘Fresh food. Great Coffee. Good Company.’ I can chime in on the coffee for sure. It was fine. A little too milky and missing the coffee flavor (they use fair trade Sicilia coffee) but a good size and priced at 49 CZK. Their food concept seems to be a mixed of locally baked goods, some behind the counter, some laid out for self-serve and packaged sandwiches, salads and the like. The cakes appeared quite artisan and the items displayed included information about the local baker.
Dallucci is located in the River Garden office building on Rohanské Nábřeží and caters to those in the numerous offices in the area. They are closed weekends. As for the good company, the staff was friendly, but otherwise this was pretty much a solo visit, as only about three other people came and stayed and about a handful got something to go.
The floor to ceiling windows are what initially caught my eye here. The interior is gorgeous with lots of tables and a nice library-like sitting area along one side. It’s self-serve. Dallucci is wonderful for its workability, meetability, interiors and cake selection.
